Performing Arts Rehabilitation
Performing Arts Physical Therapy is a specialized area of care as it relates to movement artists, such as dancers and gymnasts, as these athletes are prone to specific injuries due to the unique nature of their art form. The athlete is evaluated thoroughly to address their specific injury, movement dysfunctions associated with the injury, as well as training effects and schedules. An individualized treatment plan is established and tailored to the athlete's needs in order to facilitate their return to full performance ability. Emphasis is also placed on education and injury prevention.
