On behalf of the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation, I would like to thank you for your sponsorship of our 8th annual Woodstock's Spring for Kids Run which was held on March 12, 2011--we were able to raise $9,300 for our teacher mini-grants program! Your support contributed greatly to our success and is greatly appreciated.
367 participants braved the wet and chilly weather to come out and participate. We are happy to announce that Wilson Elementary, Linus Pauling Middle School and Corvallis High School had the most participants from their schools and are the proud winners of a school trophy and $50 for their school's wellness program.
The funds raised from this event will support grants in our fall grants cycle. Again thank you for joining us in supporting our teachers and students.

On behalf of the membership of the Rotary Club of Corvallis, thank you for presenting to our club this past week. Your presentation of the "Healthy Machine" was informative, educational, and thoroughly enlightening.
I usually gauge the value of a speaker's presentation to the club by the number of questions that are fielded at the end. In this case, we could have continued well beyond the normal cut-off time when club President Shirley Peterson interrupted to limit responses from the audience. In fact, working with Dan's tennis elbow issue after the meeting was worthy of a fee!
We deeply appreciate the time and energy that you invested with our club on Thursday. All of us are now a bit wiser when it comes to maintaining healthy habits and ensuring full-range of motion for our joints because of your influence.
